Find your sweet fix another way. If you haven't yet been to Miami-based The Salty, which opened in Bishop Arts during the pandemic, there are two new reasons to go. Beginning this week, custom cookies-n-cream letter donuts seem inspired by local artist Alli Koch's on-site Y'all mural, and flan donuts hit the shelf. Other temptations include Texafied versions of the famous 24-hour brioche donuts like the Texas Sheet Cake, which rivals your grandma's recipe, and the Lone Star—shaped like it sounds, blended with ruby red grapefruit curd and tossed in grapefruit-infused powdered sugar.
