You’ve sipped your way down Washington Ave., but here are two spots you haven’t tried yet.

Les Givral’s Kahve, a downtown institution, has expanded to a bright, modern space accented by an artistic explosion of plywood. Order at the counter, where Vietnamese specialties draw lunchtime crowds. We love the cheap sandwiches – an incredible value for $3 – like barbecued pork or shredded chicken breast loaded with fresh toppings on, of all things, a fresh baguette. Coming soon: a sushi bar for nighttime noshing.

You’ve gone eco every other way – why not opt for an all-natural hangover? Turn green in a good way at Sugarcane, the cozy new bar that’s replaced The Corkscrew. (Did you know the building used to be a brothel?) Just in time for summer, they’re mixing drinks made with organic liquor and just-squeezed fruit. Sample fresh ECOcktails like the Sugarmomma – tequila, agave nectar and blood oranges – they promise their yummy ingredients will rid you of that icky feeling the next morning.

Sugarcane is now The Corkscrew.
