Sure, L.A. has landmarks like the Kodak Theatre, Fred Segal and that charming Ivy restaurant.
But they don’t beat our River Oaks movie house, Tootsies or Tiny Boxwoods.
There’s one West Coast luxury no self-respecting sugar addict would turn away, however. Landing on our very own palm-lined version of Rodeo Drive, the famous Sprinkles Cupcakes opened up shop in Highland Village yesterday. The Bev Hills-born bakery dishes out desserts in its 10th sleek store nationwide, which houses the chain’s first-ever patio. The brand has built a full-on celeb following with addictive flavors like chai latte, key lime and black-and-white, finally setting its sights on Houston-wood.
Where our sparkling Mecom fountain rivals those flashy movie lights any night.
