Anna Wintour spent her holidays here (dining at Tiny Boxwood’s, natch), Jessica Alba was spotted at t’afia last weekend and we all know Gwyneth hit the Menil the last time she was in town.

With even celebs taking notice of our terrific dining and arts scene, shouldn’t you be doing more to heart Houston? Take in our picks for shows worth seeing right now.
It’s 2010 and time for a new spin on a Disney classic. The Alley Theatre’s world premiere of Wonderland is staged in modern day Manhattan, with Alice’s struggles in her writing career and marriage set to pop music. ($21 tickets available for Sunday and Tuesday evening shows.)
Take in a series of mouth-watering foodie films for $7 each through the spring in the quaint theater of the Museum of Fine Arts. Meals on Reels are introduced monthly by the local chef who selected them.

Three hipster chicks launched The Starck Chair Project, photographing themselves around town in the famous minimalist chairs, and a photo exhibit is up through February at Dean’s Lounge in Montrose.
Houston joins the ranks of New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Brussels by showcasing eight largescale sculptures by world renown French artist Bernar Venet throughout Hermann Park this spring.
Young local artist Joseph Cohen is known for a unique technique of layering paint on reclaimed objects, and his show at Wade Wilson Art is impressive. All of the galleries in this building have great shows right now, and Tart Café is one of our fave lunch spots.
