What is it that makes miniatures so cute? Baby-sized Uggs, tiny bottles of champagne, and mini Christmas trees decked out for the holidays make you positively giddy.

You’ll love eating baby burgers at casual Montrose hot spot, Little Bigs, which opened last weekend. The guys who brought you Reef have taken their popular sliders and created a retro diner concept. They’re offering a simple menu of beef minis along with bites of fried chicken and breaded mushroom (oozing with yummy cheese). Order them one at a time, and throw in fries and adult-fun frozen treats like a White Russian milkshake and a Sangria Slushy. Take your burgers to go, or stay for a while on the killer deck.

It’s more fun to eat small. If only you could shrink the calorie intake too.

Stay tuned: A second Little Bigs will set up shop in Hermann Park just in time for warmer weather this March.
