You wrapped your head in a Pucci scarf and rented a vintage convertible. Then you channeled a free spirit who strummed guitar in a thin floral headband.

Try as you might, you can’t escape to eras past. Discover Atlanta-based Signe Grushovenko, an artist at the legendary Bayou City Art Festival this weekend. Signe paints images based on vintage Polaroids, harkening back to days at the beach when swimsuits were modest but still sexy, families posed in matching madras on vacation, and Palm Beach socialites gossiped over cigarettes in mod houses. The vibrant candy-colored pieces are also available year-round at the Elaine Turner boutique.
Before you try bringing back cocktail hour and high balls, make sure you get the picture.
