You justify that pastry habit at the Nordstrom coffee shop because you need fuel to shop. Lunch at Saks? Well, that’s to celebrate your purchases.
Consider Coquette, which opened last weekend where Pixie & Ivy used to reside. The Montrose corner spot still has the chic red door, but inside, you’ll find a boutique and bistro. They offer snacks from Krafts’men Bakery that you can enjoy perched at one of the tiny tables amongst well-priced sequin leggings, snug blazers and funky jewelry. Coming soon: an after-hours speakeasy where you can imbibe.
Cocktailing while clothes-shopping? Imagine the possibilities.

Don’t miss shout-outs to fashion icons like Kate and Karl in the dressing rooms and bathroom, plus, coming soon, the psychics in Coquette’s back room. Hopefully they’ll see a little black dress in your future…
